Wednesday November 2, is Military Appreciation and Awareness day. Please join us in thanking our local hero’s by participating in the cookout 11-1 and or the appreciation ceremony tomorrow night beginning at 5. All community members are welcome to attend and admission is free.
There is an officers meeting being held tomorrow at 12:30 pm to discuss our Veterans appreciation and awareness day. The location of the meeting has moved to the conference room on the fifth floor. All members of the group who would like to take part in helping in the planning of this event are welcome to attend this meeting. We will be updating the group on any new information as well as discussing the logistics of the event moving forward.
Welcome to fall quarter! Adults Belong in College will be holding our first Brown Bag Lunch Meetings on Wednesday September 14 and Thursday September 15 from 12 to 1 pm in room 414 of Brasse Hall. This months Brown Bag Lunch is entitled College Survival Tips and is geared to helping new students survive the first quarter. In addition to providing information on available resources and support, we will be meeting some of the new ABC officers and providing forming open discussion.

We are having a brown bag lunch at Ohio University Lancaster on April 25th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Brasee 414. The topic is breaking the cycle of abuse and we will have Karen Taskey, M.A., L.I.S.W. as the speaker.
